Mixes easy with water and this organic beet root powder is almost indistinguishable from just filtered beet juice. Of course you don't get much fiber content from this fine powder but the taste is as natural and great as it gets if you don't dislike beet roots.I take it one to two hours before exercising and it does help with stamina on long workouts/walks/bike rides.

If there is a possibility of knowing what moldy dirt or an old wet moldy sock would taste like, I would say this is pretty close. I'm going to try to get through this canister and quickly find another product. Maybe lots of Gatorade powder mixed in will help.

Great product. Real beet juice! Best to mix in with warm water and let it sit for 10-15 mins. Then, you’ll get the real beet flavor and nutrients.

You can tell it’s definitely beetroot that’s for sure. It is a beautiful color and has that earthy smell but the taste isn’t too strong. I’m able to put it in a smoothie for my husband and he hasn’t minded. Use some vanilla protein powder, some frozen avocado, some frozen berries, some frozen veggies, some oats, a little olive oil, some MiraLAX type powder and some water and a scoop of this powder and he loves it. He literally thinks it’s just some fruit and veggies and protein powder so lol. And I love that it’s supporting his heart health and blood pressure health.

When I bought this product I had purchased it in hopes of making my own pre-workout to help save money. When it arrived I was very excited to mix this with my favorite workout drink. The powder had an overwhelming smell of vomit, to the point that I had to open a window, if the smell wasn’t enough, it says that it is unflavored, but it has an extremely strong flavor of its own.Overall I’m eating 3 stars because it does pose a good value for the amount that you get compared to other beetroot products, and maybe the flavor cannot be helped, but to my experience, it wasn’t all that pleasant.

I have bought a few different beet powders. This is the only one that I have found that just has the one ingredient - organic beet root. Many of the others have added flavoring and other chemicals. They may taste a little better, but I prefer this where it is just organic beet only. No added chemicals.

When you open the container it smells like fresh beets. I mix mine with a little water, then add a splash of lemon juice and several ounces of low sodium V8 which already has some beet in it.This makes for a delicious drink with no heavy beet flavor.

Taste like dirt. Emailed the company and I would have to pay for return shipping to get get a refund. Did not return because shipping cost would be almost as much as any possible refund. Return policy has discouraged me from trying any new products from that brand.
