I had an allergic reaction to this particular one. My lips felt a weird sensation the few times I used it, and the tip of my tongue would get numb. It may be the lanolin, beeswax, or the minerals in it...I’m not entirely sure. I wanted to like this one, the lemonade treatment one seems to be fine.

Hi! I’ve wanted to try this brand for awhile! I finally decided to purchase this the other day at Ulta; I absolutely adore all things banana so was looking forward to it. I’ve worn it a few times on different days to see if maybe it was what I was drinking and whatnot, but this lip balm has a first hit of banana and then once on maintains a very chemical-ish, doctors office type scent that you can smell as well as taste. This usually causes me to wipe it off, unfortunately. I love how it feels, and the packaging and brand style as well as ingredients are so lovely and aesthetic! Just very bummed by the strange smells and taste after looking forward to trying Lanolips for quite some time :( I am thinking of trying other balms by them with hopefully different results ! Perhaps the one I purchased was expired or had been sitting on the shelf for a long time.

The smell is delicious and not overwhelming at all- I get really nauseous with heavy scented lip products but this passes for me! I’m diabetic so my lips tend to be dry and hard to maintain moisture but this works wonders! I also like the way it feels as a cuticle oil!

I've been using lanolips since glossier changed their formula and I love it way more! I only give this flavor a 4/5 stars cause it wears off slightly faster than the other flavors but still very hydrating and smells amazing. The glitter is also perfectly subtle and doesn't leave a gritty feeling or white cast.
