These trimmers are some HITTERS! I didn’t need any trimmers but the price was so good to accompany my matching BaBylissPRO Compact Clippers I decided to give them a try. Personally i prefer my BaBylissPRO FX3 I feel it’s a better all-around trimmer. The FX3 blade glides along the skin which is great for shaving or balding. I feel the Graphite 2.0 blade on these compacts grab a skip a little. I think it’s because the teeth are a little longer. The motor is super strong. I love the fact it comes with a zero gap tool. If you in fact zero gap it, be careful because these bite worse than a police dog. Your soft touch and angle will matter a lot, so don’t rush or you’ll have scaring. I always gap with a magnifying headband which I use for precision repairs. But I may go back and go above zero to see if that leaves a margin for error. The size is great for smaller hands and dealing with smaller heads or details. If you have large hands these likely aren’t for you. I feel I have normal hands, I wear a Large Glove and they work for me. As with the matching clippers they could improve by adding a digital battery level meter or even the line indicators. It has neither. I’m keeping these for use when I want a crisp razor like line. But I’m only giving 4 stars because I don’t see it as an all around trimmer, I wud prefer it had a battery meter, and although it looks and feels great some will say it’s too small. Really I would give it 4.5 stars but that isn’t an option. With the current $109 price via the discount at VIP grab’em. And keep’em. BTW I would choose these over say the Andis Slimline which I also have as a smaller sized cordless trimmer. Battery life is terrible on those. Not just with runtime but it will need replacing in 1-2 yrs max. Blade on those is mid. Good for toddlers
