The wood has released a TON of tannins into the water. Our tank water is now a lovely brown color even after boiling and soaking. It will eventually clear up with lots of water changes tho. Wood pieces are def more so 9”, of the supposed 9-14”. But I expected that! They look cool still tho. 👍
