The dishes are beautiful and well made have only used them for storage so far but I plan to freeze my homemade sauce in them and discard the plastic ones I use now.

This dish works great fir cooking and storing. I didn’t realize it it’s not available in clear like my other Any Day dishes. I do not like its appearance but prefer the shape as it holds more than a similarly sized round dish.

My son gave me an 8-Cup Glass Round Deep Dish for Christmas. I was immdiately hooked because it performed flawlessly. That resulted in my purchase of a 5.5-Cup Glass Square Shallow Dish. That was a good decision. I am so pleased with my new dish! It has changed my cooking for the better! The food is cooked properly - it's more healthy and the food tastes and looks better too!

Tight fitting lid, pressure release valve pushes down for tight seal in the freezer and pulls up for releasing steam for the microwave, frosted glass doesn't show fingerprints, easy to clean, stacks and nests neatly for the freezer and storage. All excellent features. Expensive but worth it.

I purchased this alongside 4 2.5 cup square dishes. This 5.5 cup is large and able to hold a bigger portion of food whenever we need such a container. This is quite heavy because of the glass feel but is similar to the other dishes.

This dish is inspiring in it's excellence. Aside from being elegant in apearance it has many functional qualities. The square shape and the retractable lid vent/handel alows for efficient placement and stacking in my limited refridgerator space and the texture feel of the glass surface provides a confident grip while moveing or washing. Although it can be used for directly cooking meals, I find it very useful as a storage container for holding single meals when I need to cook in larger batchs. After work, I simply take one of the dishs from the fridg, pull up the vent and place it in the microwave. And afterwards, the substantial container helps keep the food warmer so there is no rush to eat.

This dish is okay. I ordered it out of curiosity. I’m a senior lady and like most who cook, I have a whole collection of baking dishes, pans, etc. So this dish and lid wasn’t a must-have; I’m not planning to get rid of any of the kitchen ware I have. The first time I used it, to cook a sweet potato, the potato was fully cooked within the time given for my 1200W microwave. But my impression of the Anyday dish is that, for me, the dish is heavy. And because the dish wasn’t designed with handles, it was difficult for me to lift it out of the microwave. My microwave sits on the top shelf of a microwave cart, which is about 4 ft. tall. I’m short, so lifting a heavy dish is difficult for me. (Lightweight plates, etc., are no problem. Lifting this dish out of my microwave made me feel a little nervous.) I’ll use this dish to bake chicken, brownies, etc. in my oven. I hope someday, Anyday dishes are re-designed with handles.

I bought this dish for one of my daughters that lives alone for Mother's Day. It is the perfect size for cooking a smaller amount of food, and also for storing any leftovers. Easy to rewarm without having to use another container. She loves it, and I will buy her more for her birthday.

After a few experiments as to the proper microwave intensity ("8" on a 1200 watt microwave) and time in the microwave (3-1/2 minutes), I get consistently great oatmeal for breakfast.
