Soo.. we often feed family or friends. This is a perfect size for serving in addition to cooking and storing. I now have 3, and each of my 3 kids enjoys one too. The 3rd generation is asking for their own, now that they have used mine.

I bought the frosted 12 cup dish. I like everything about it except the frosted feature. After one washing, it has an uneven frosted look. I wish I had know they had clear also. In their advertising, they show frosted only.

I really love the size of these bowls. I thought the bottom would have been wider but I understand that because of the design of the bowl it had to be that size in order for it to function properly. I've only used them to cook some pre-seasoned pre-packaged rice side dishes but I own some smaller pieces so I know what this cookware can do. This size allows me to do these rice dishes perfectly without it boiling over. I also plan to use these for chicken drumsticks now that I can make more at one time.
