I typically use the matte finisher for all of my work, but I wanted to create a patent leather look. Using the gloss finisher in thin, multiple layers worked perfect for the custom on this AJ1 Fusion Red.

It only took 2 coats of finish to cover my zip up boots that I painted with Orange and Yellow Angelus paint. Works great and the boots came out wonderful! Thank you!

I used it to refresh the look of my Jimmy Choo flats and it worked beautifully! A little product goes a long way, it’s watery and very runny but I guess that is a good thing because it allows you to have control better control over the final result by adding thin layers. I would definitely buy it again if I ever run out jaja.

So I had watched videos on YouTube with other cyclists painting/customizing their shoes and decided to try it. I was a little hesitant at first because the shoes I was going to paint were $350 Giro shoes. The problem was that I had bought them thinking they were red, and they wound up being more orange. I had kept them anyway, but this was an opportunity to finally have the red pair I had originally wanted. I rubbed them down with acetone first, then several coats of fire red later, and one coat of glossy finish and they look amazing. I will say this, I bought 4 oz bottles of each and while I may eventually use up most of the red paint fixing scuffs, that glossy clear finish will last a lifetime. It goes on super thin and you only need one coat, so 4 ounces is enough to do 400 pairs of shoes, literally.
