Columbia never disappoints! The quality of this coat is outstanding, and the warmth is incredible. The sizing is absolutely perfect, and I love all the thoughtful details, especially the zippered pockets and convenient interior pockets. I'm 5'5", and the coat hits me at mid-calf, which is perfect for keeping the cold and wind out and it is light weight. It's comfortable, beautifully made, and exactly what I was looking for. This is my favorite coat. I have worn it for two winter seasons now and it's still in great condition. I love the length, it gives me added warmth and keeps me dry. I really like the second zipper feature for when I am in my car or sitting down; I can open the bottom and it gives my legs more mobility to move around but then can easily zip back down when I stand up. As long as Columbia is making this coat, I will continue to own one.

The coat is warm, but it’s not as thick as I expected. It feels a bit too lightweight for the harsh Northeast winters. While the quality seems good, I was hoping for a heavier, more insulated winter coat that provides better protection against freezing temperatures.

After the reviews and the AI suggestion instead of getting a 3X which was suggested for my size, I bought a 2X. I’m usually a one X, but the reviews suggested that this coat runs small. In my opinion. I believe the code runs true to size. I usually wear a one X I purchased it 2X and it fits me Loosely. It took forever to get here, but when I did get it, I was pleasantly surprised on how well built the coat is I purchased the black coat. I was also impressed on Warm for the most part it is I was looking for a lightweight coat all the warmth none of the weight and this coat delivers. I have 59 and I find myself at times pulling the coat up when I am getting in and out of SUVs or having to climb higher up in to vehicles I think the next time I would purchase a 1X. The 2X is OK if you’re into layering. I found it very helpful in wearing thick sweatshirts and still roomy, but I don’t find it more fit flattering at a larger size. I live in Chicago. This coat is warm to a degree. We’ve been having a really cold winter so far and when the weather gets below 30, I start to feel cool. I like the material and it is water resistant so far I’ve experienced that during light rain.

Do NOT buy from Columbia. They use a terrible delivery system that is known to steal packages from their customers. It took 2 weeks for the coat to be delivered with multiple delays, and then the package disappeared from my front door. Columbia refused to issue me a refund or a replacement coat. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Columbia has asked me to review this item. Since I still have not received this item and Columbia refuses to refund me I will rate the customer service. My package has said label created for two weeks and has not moved. Columbia claimes they can not help with anything until Dec 19th. I will never order from this website again.

I am disappointed, yet again, with Columbia's poor plus fit. I would like to dare them to share the models sitting down in this jacket, with their hip size. I am under their size chart in hip, yet I could barely zip the jacket, let alone be expected to down down or drive anywhere. If you look at the side seams they are super straight, and not built for a Plus body. Please allocate the resources to your product development to do this right. I want to purchase your product, but have again gone to Duluth where the sizing is done right, and the fit is good.

This coat is AWESOME!!!!!! Very warm! Fits great! Comfy!!!! I told my friend it felt like I was bundled in a sleeping bag and cozy (not a bad thing). Only complaint was Columbia's shipping. Took 2 weeks to receive and NO TRACKING INFO at all.

I have been a loyal Columbia customer for many years, and my family has always trusted the brand for warm, reliable outerwear. Unfortunately, this recent purchase and the customer service that followed have completely changed my opinion. I purchased a Columbia winter coat that looked great and fit comfortably, so I removed the tags. However, the first time I wore it—in 40° weather—I was freezing. The coat offered almost no warmth, despite being advertised and reviewed as a cold-weather jacket. For the price, this coat is absolutely not worth the money. I contacted Customer Service to explain the situation, including that the coat failed to perform as expected and that the price dropped shortly after my purchase. I also shared that I am disabled, currently out of work, and unable to afford another winter coat. Their response: there is nothing they can do. No exchange, no replacement, no refund, and not even a small discount. I was simply told to “go on the website and find another coat on sale.” The lack of support and compassion was extremely disappointing. A brand with Columbia’s reputation should stand behind its products and treat customers—especially loyal ones—far better than this. Overall: • The coat is not warm and not worth the cost. • Customer Service is unhelpful, rigid, and dismissive. • This experience has made me seriously reconsider purchasing from Columbia again. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously, because loyal customers deserve better product quality and far better customer care.
