Steps for replacing the refill in a round ballpoint pen
Step 1: Open the pen casing
Rotating typeHold both upper and lower sections of the pen barrel and rotate counterclockwise to unscrew.
Pull-cap type / press-activated typeDirectly pull out either the front or rear section of the pen barrel to expose the internal refill.
Step 2: Remove the old refill
Remove the old refill from the tip end.

Step 3: Install a new refill (crucial step)
Get a new refill.Tip points forwardInsert the pen barrel at the front and pass it through the tip opening.
