Steps for replacing the refill in a round ballpoint pen
Step 1: Open the pen casing
Rotating typeHold both upper and lower sections of the pen barrel and rotate counterclockwise to unscrew.
Pull-cap type / press-activated typeDirectly pull out either the front or rear section of the pen barrel to expose the internal refill.
Step 2: Remove the old refill
Remove the old refill from the tip end.
Please pay attention to whether there is anything at the end of the pen tip.SpringPress-type models usually include them; if present, remove them together. Please store the spring carefully and do not lose it.
Step 3: Install a new refill (crucial step)
Get a new refill.Tip points forwardInsert the pen barrel at the front and pass it through the tip opening.
If it isPress-activatedFirst, place the spring sleeve onto the new pen tip end, then insert the pen tip together with the spring into the barrel.
Gently press the tip of the pen barrel to ensure the tip can extend and retract properly.
Step 4: Reinstall the pen barrel
Align both parts of the pen body, then tighten clockwise or press it back until it clicks into place to ensure the pen body closes tightly.
Step 5: Practice writing
Draw a few circles on paper or write a few strokes, then confirm that the writing is smooth—that’s all you need to do.

I love this pen. It writes very smoothly, came with a converter. Has a nice weight to it. Can’t beat the price and is just a lovely pen that I have been using everyday. I am learning that when it comes to pens you don’t have to spend a lot of money to be happy with a product.
