I was pleasantly surprised by how well this drain cleaner powder worked. Our bathroom sink was draining very slowly because I trim my beard regularly, so hair buildup was the main issue. It wasn’t an instant fix—we had to repeat the process about four times—but each application noticeably improved the flow until the drain was completely clear.
One thing I found is that the instructions could be more helpful for heavily clogged drains. What worked best for us was adding about 3–4 ounces of the powder directly into the clogged drain. Once the black bubbling slowed down and mostly remained in the drain, the water would begin to release and flow. Then we’d flush with hot water and repeat the process until the sink drained normally again.
The product has no strong odor or fragrance, which I really appreciated. It also didn’t cause any irritation while using it and arrived well packaged. Overall, it’s an effective drain cleaner, especially for hair clogs, as long as you’re patient and willing to repeat the treatment if the blockage is severe.
