An International Geo-Political Military Special Forces Unit must stop a terrorist attack.

Protocol: G.I. Joe is set a few years after the Wagner Group's failed attempt to march on Moscow. This leads to the formation of an organization whose sole purpose is to conquer the world through Conversion Orchestrated by Blackmail, Revolution, and Anarchy. Upon learning this new terrorist organization had begun recruiting soldiers from extremist groups around the world, General Abernathy Colton, codenamed Hawk, went to the PNA (Peaceful Nations Alliance) and the heads of the Joint Chiefs of State to activate the Global Initiative Joint Operative Enforcement protocol, codenamed G.I.
