Update: Okay, so I get the direction with this lotion. It’s not meant to be in your face fragrant. It’s subtle and soothing.
Original Review: Honestly, I’m very disappointed. The “Confetti Cake” scent is not strong, it’s basically nonexistent. I was super excited about the fragrance especially bcuz they did the Vanilla Crush scent so well. You’re better off getting the Vanilla Crush scent if you want a Vanilla smelling lotion. This smells like just Shea butter which isn’t bad, but then the formula is also more watery. It’s like they rushed this and didn’t put the time effort and research into it. My grandmother wore Jergens Cherry Almond as long as I can remember as soon as I got this and used it oh boy did it bring back memories smells so good and just like her.
Worked better than I thought it would. Used for a few days and it gave me a very nice glow. Application was easy, no streaks or blotches. Just make sure you exfoliate prior and moisturize any dry patches! It does have an odd smell after a while, I use at night and then shower in AM. I like the drops it gave my face such a warm tone that drowns out my redness 👍🏼
I LOVE it the confetti cake smells exactly how it sounds except as a lotion of course, and the vanilla crust wasn’t exactly what I expected but it still smells great, it kinda reminds of a frosting smell but in a good way. The confetti cake reminds me of bath and body works birthday cake lotion except the Jergens is WAY more hydrating and my skin feels very smooth
