This is Q-tip and Leo, the original Best Buds. Q-tip is the fluffy white Scottish Highland steer with the jet-black nose, and the very first calf ever born here at our little farm in Ithaca, Michigan. Leo is the dark brown mini moo with the yellow ear tag who showed up with his mama Rue and immediately decided Q-tip was his person. Cow. Whatever. They've been inseparable ever since.

We caught them on a good afternoon, standing shoulder to shoulder the way they always do, and the photo was too good not to put on a wall. So we did. This is that photo, printed big.

About Wolf & Steer

We are a small working family farm on 30 acres in mid-Michigan, between Lansing and Alma. The Steer half of the name is the cattle: thirteen head of Scottish Highlands, Black Dexters, and mini moos, including Q-tip and Leo. The Wolf half is our two husky-mix siblings, Chase and Everest, who came north with us from Texas and basically run the place.

We don't hold inventory. Every poster is printed on demand in the USA through our print partner and shipped to you directly. That keeps things simple, keeps waste low, and keeps us out in the pasture instead of in a warehouse.
