1. Turn off the engine and remove the key before testing.Do not start the engine during the test to avoid blowing
the fuse
2. To measure battery drain, the vehicle must be in theengine-off state. Make sure all doors are locked and thekey is removed so the vehicle's computer can enter
sleep mode
3. Sleep time varies by vehicle model. Please wait patientlyuntil the vehicle fully enters sleep mode before takingthe measurement.
4. Standby current differs by vehicle model. For mostvehicles, the normal standby current is between 20-50
nA
5. The tester starts displaying from 30 mA. If the sleepcurrent is too low, the display may show 0, whichindicates no battery drain.
Instructions for Use
1. Park the vehicle and turn off the engine. Open the hood,lock the doors, and wait for the vehicle to enter sleep
mode
2. Attach the spring clip to the battery negative terminalthe black clamp to the battery negative post, and thered clamp to the battery positive post.3. Loosen the negative battery terminal nut and disconnectthe negative terminal from the battery post.

1. Read the value on the display.
Example: 50 mA = 0.05 A on the display.
1. After testing, remove the tester first, then reconnect thebattery negative terminal to avoid sparks when
reconnecting.
2. The tester includes a 10A mini fuse. If the fuse is blown,please replace it with the same specification (10A).
