The BREAK consists of:

NO PAPER VETERAN BASE SHIPS

Cards will be assigned to teams based on the following criteria: If the card displays a professional team logo, it will go to that team. If no logo is present, the card will go to the player's current team if they are active. For former players, it will go to the team where they had the longest tenure. If the player has never been part of a professional team, such as being undrafted or still amateur, the card will be assigned to the NIL Spot.

SERIALIZED SPOTS

Sometimes in a break we will break a team up into "Serialized Spots" in order to make spots more affordable. If you buy a serial spot in a break you are not guaranteed a particular Serial # only the order that you purchased in. Cards are assigned based on the ending number of the first number on a serial (i.e. 13/99 would use 13 and goes to the "3" spot, 24/50 would use 24 and goes to the "4" spot).

In the event that a card is not numbered it goes to the "0" spot, this includes all base, refractors, silvers, SSPs and Redemptions.

The only exception to this rule is if the redemption is numbered below 10 (i.e. Superfractor or a Red Refractor) and we know it could never be a "0". The card is then assigned to the second serial number (i.e. X/1 assigned to 1, X/5 assigned to 5). If we cannot determine with 100% certainty the number of the card due to a lack of checklist the card goes to the "0" spot.

Multi-Player Cards: The card will go to the participant who has the team with the highest total cost in the break, based on the final team prices after discounts. If a team has been Serialized, the total cost of the team is determined by the combined value of all its serialized spots.

Panini Points: Panini Points will be awarded to the participant who had the highest total purchase in the break, based on the final prices after discounts.

NIL Spot: Any cards featuring players without a specific team designation, a team logo, or those who have not been associated with a professional league team will be assigned to the NIL Spot.
