Use this grass seed mix to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing lawn. For best results, apply this lawn care product when air temperatures are between 65 ° F and 85 ° F. To seed a new lawn, prep the area by raking to loosen the top layer of soil and remove any dead grass or debris to ensure seed-to-soil contact. To reseed or overseed an existing lawn, mow the lawn at the lowest setting and bag the clippings. For new lawns and overseeding, apply grass seed using a Scotts ® spreader at the recommended setting listed on the label.
