I was on a time crunch to find the perfect veil to go with my designer dress. All of the veils recommended to me were ridiculously expensive and did not meet my requirements. Thankfully, I found Alisha at One Blushing Bride!!! She gave me such a personalized experience and really helped me make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. The veil is absolutely beautiful. The silk is the most amazing quality and everyone at the bridal shop where I got my dress (one of the most notorious bridal shops in NYC) was in awe at how perfect this veil was. I wanted something dainty and minimal but still dramatic and I got exactly that. The silk is dainty yet durable and soooo soft and flowy. This was a beautifully intimate veil shopping experience. Although it was via email, I felt like I was a VIP. I was able to get my veil in a very very short amount of time (last minute bride!) and it met all of my needs from beautiful quality, aesthetic details, perfect length, and obvious thoughtful care. I can't say enough about Alisha and One Blushing Bride. When I was shopping around on Etsy for wedding veils, I found Alisha's page and loved what I saw of her work. I was on a tight budget but loved the veils on her page, so I favorited the shop. Within a couple of hours, Alisha sent me a message to introduce herself and asked if she could answer any questions I might have. I thanked her for reaching out and let her know how much I loved the veils on her page, but told her that I was considering making my own veil to cut costs (and at the time, I was considering that). Without hesitating, Alisha immediately offered to give me some tips about how to make the veil, including step-by-step pointers for sewing lace to the edges. There was no obligation for her to do this, but it was clear from the start that she really cares about the brides she works with, and wants every bride -- even those who don't end up being customers -- to feel beautiful on their big day. So, when my sister learned I was thinking of making my own veil to save money, she offered to buy me a veil. I immediately went back to Alisha's page and sent her message to let her know I would now be able to order one of her beautiful veils. She worked with me and asked for a picture of my dress so she could offer advice about the best style, length and color, and she was always friendly, personable and kind. I would have spent *at least* twice as much in a bridal shop for the quality and style veil that Alisha made for me. I told her I've always envisioned an elegant drop veil, like the one Kate Middleton wore, and she delivered. When I asked about having the softest, flowiest fabric available, she sent me two additional fabric samples so I could choose between a silk blend and the lovely English net. I ended up paying a bit more and ordering the silk blend (it was within the budget offered by my sister), but I will say I'm sure the bridal illusion tulle is just as lovely, so you will not go wrong either way. I love my veil so much that I take it out of my closet to wear it in front of the mirror sometimes when my fiance isn't home (our wedding is later this year). The veil arrived VERY quickly, within a week of when I confirmed the final color details, and it was beautifully packaged with personalized, handwritten note. Alisha is a gem. Not only is her work beautiful, but she truly cares about each of her customers and will create a custom piece that you can treasure for years to come. My veil will be preserved and handed down to my own daughter some day, and if I don't have a daughter, perhaps to a niece. Ordering my veil from Alisha has been one of the easiest and least stressful aspects of planning my wedding, and it's the veil I've always imagined myself wearing on my wedding day.

After much discussion, my daughter opted for this simple veil to go with her lace dress. Alisha sent lots of samples, and her advice was excellent. The wedding is September 1st, and I just can't wait!
