In the past, Sarafina was a traditional storefront based in Marlboro, NJ for 17 years. Unfortunately, in December 2018, Stacey decided it was time for Sarafina to close. Many of our customers were devastated and wondered what would take the place of our beloved store. Fast forward to now, Stacey realized that she could take on her daughter Sara as a partner and convert Sarafina into a full eCommerce store!

Sara recently graduated with a degree in Business Management during the pandemic and always

had an entrepreneurial drive. She was ecstatic to partner up with her mom and determined to make Sarafina a success.

They knew they were the total package between Stacey's years of experience and Sara's skill set, Sarafina Jewelry online was born! 01. GOLD PLATED/VERMEIL

Gold plating and gold vermeil is a thick outer layer over sterling silver that achieves a 14k gold look without breaking the bank. Our pieces are dipped in anywhere from 14k-18k gold. This allows for us to deliver you high quality pieces at an affordable price. We recommend cleaning your piece with a dry cloth and storing it its pouch or box given to you with every purchase. Avoid contact with water.

02. STERLING SILVER

 Sterling silver is made out of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper or zinc. These pieces allow for that 14k white gold look at a more affordable price. Some of our silver pieces are also plated with rhodium which allows for even more durability. Since the oils in your skin prevent sterling silver from oxidizing faster, wear often. Store your piece in the pouch or box given to you with every purchase for less oxygen exposure. Avoid contact with water.

03. GOLD FILLED

 Gold filled jewelry is one of the most valuable and tarnish resistant ways to achieve a rich gold look without sacrificing affordability. Gold filled jewelry is made out of 2-3 durable layers that could last a lifetime if cared for properly. It is considered safe to shower, sweat or swim in your gold filled jewels, however it is never recommended. Our best selling Sara’s Stacks are all gold filled. Remember to roll on your stacks, never stretch or strain!

Sarafina guarantees high quality and durable jewelry at an affordable price. We recommend the following to ensure the longest life of your new pieces. No showering, swimming or exercising in your jewels. Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on when you get dressed after your lotions or perfumes.
