I am VERY impressed with this doll. Her sculpt is amazing, and I was giddy to discover that her pockets were REAL. You can put little treasures in her hoodie AND cargos! Her hair is extremely soft and I keep running my fingers through it. My daughters (Caucasian)both chose single motherhood by choice. Through a long list of donors I am now the proud grandmother of a half Chinese granddaughter and a half Japanese granddaughter. Christmas came early and my daughter is in love with her Jilly doll! She takes her everywhere and says Jilly is her daughter (and now I’m grandma). She speaks aloud to Jilly, and it gives me a beautiful peek into her imagination and thought process. Jilly has gorgeous, strong hair, which my toddler loves to comb and style. Her best friend is half Asian and she’s so excited to have a doll that looks like her Bestie, especially because her Bestie always says her white blonde dolls look like her.
