Loving my early Christmas gift, the radically light weight Spectre. The mesh is great, it does a decent job at repelling water if it’s only drizzling, so you don’t necessarily have to be blocked by the rain fly and actually enjoy seeing the outdoors too! And one very cold day, I tried it in my back yard with just a light quilt while lying on an electric throw blanket that I plugged into a GFI outlet. I just started watching the large chucks of snow blow off the trees in the strong breeze. The snow colliding with the bug net that helped break the wind while still getting to experience the sights. If you look closely at the video, you may be able to see the way the mesh creates a colorful aura around the falling snowflakes. Now I’m tempted to snag a pair of 3D glasses the next time at the movie theater just to see what it looks like. Great hammock for those with imagination, I guess that would be thanks to those at Haven with the imaginations to create such a great product.

I'm grateful there is a repair kit available designed for the Safari Tent period. The Carbon Fiber Spreader Bars are light. But they are not the same length as the aluminum ones and the edges/ends of the bars are not rounded. I prefer the aluminum ones.

the repair kit was super easy no glue but i’m still having issues with the pad sliding away it was 20 degrees the other night and all is good in until i roll over (side sleeper) then i get cold and reposition the pad and i’m the only one with this issue. tell me if i’m doing something wrong are you guys working on a fix thanks jon

I have a profound affection for the Haven tent as it is the finest camping equipment I have acquired. During my last excursion, I unintentionally tore the top screen.
