MOI, or "moment of inertia", is the term the golf industry uses to measure a club's stability and forgiveness. When a mishit occurs, the club head rotates around the ball, causing the face to twist open and push a shot offline. The higher the MOI, the more stable the club is, and the more resistant it is to twisting at impact.
