Remember when you used to be able to go to the hardware store and pick through a bunch of handles to “maybe” find one that had great grain alignment and zero to little runout? That’s what it’s like buying a handle from these guys. Except you don’t have to pick through 20 to find one good one. Easy to fit, not much sanding or rasping involved. Can’t recommend enough.

In my opinion, the 28” cruiser handle the Whiskey River provides is perfect for my 2.5 pound double bit cruiser head. It being one of the more versatile handles, still keeping it condensed and useable was my goal and it achieved it. As always very please with any thing WR has to offer.

The handle was hard to find but Whiskey River had it in stock, in the mail and at my door in short time. The handle itself was a beauty piece of wood, hung it on an antique double bit Camp axe.....very excited!!!

This 28" cruiser handle is terrific, full eye makes for a secure fit even for larger double bits - great feel and balance when done - I never go wrong with this handle.

Excellent quality axe handle and perfect for the vintage Hults Bruk cruiser head I hung it on. Whiskey River has become my go-to source for quality axe handles and related gear. These are well worth the wait if out of stock. Hopefully that wait won't be too long, though, since every good axe head deserves the best--a Whiskey River handle!

Another excellent double bit handle from Whiskey River, this is my second double bit handle ordered from these guys. The grain orientation was great and the eye size was as described, perfectly centered wedge kerf and with a little rasp work I was able to fit this handle to a vintage True Temper Flint Edge Kelly Works Double Bit Cruiser head measuring 7-5/8" long with 4-1/2" bits. It turned out beautifully. Thanks for the great axe handle guys.
