It does work, but you DO need to wash it off, and you DO need a tanning mitt. Unfortunately if you are pale it will likely turn you orange. Also, it doesn’t have a weird smell until you sweat a little and then it smells like fake tan. It was VERY patchy and washed off even patchier.
