Spider lashes are strip or cluster falsies styled with spaced, crisscross spikes rather than a solid doll fringe.

  • Check band length, inner-to-outer spike count, and whether the set is mink-style fiber or synthetic.
  • Read if adhesive is included and whether it is latex-free as printed on the pack.
  • Compare curl (J, C, D) and listed millimeter lengths so the spikes do not hit your brow.

Study the on-eye photo for gaps between clusters; that spacing is what creates the spider look after you trim the band to your lash line.

FAQs

Classic strips look like one even curtain. Spider styles leave visible gaps and longer isolated spikes so the eye reads as messy-wispy rather than full glam.

Clusters let you place spikes only at the outer third; a prefabricated strip is faster if the gaps are already designed in. Beginners usually start with a strip they can trim.

A thin lash glue that dries clear holds better than a glob that mats the spikes together. If you have a latex sensitivity, only use a formula the listing marks as latex-free.

Let the glue tack before you press the band down, and avoid heavy cream liner on the lash line. A lighter inner corner and heavier outer spikes keep the shape from collapsing inward.

Gently peel leftover glue from the band and store them in the tray so spikes do not crush. Reuse only while the band still sits flat; a warped band lifts and takes the spikes with it.
