Confirm whether the heel strap pivots back or stays fixed, and whether the outsole is siped for wet floors.

FAQs

Clog molds vary by maker, so compare the insole length in inches with your own foot measurement instead of relying on the label. If you plan to wear thick socks, sizing up one whole size is common.

Some pairs use open perforations shaped like hearts, others use embossed or printed hearts on a solid upper. Open cutouts breathe better in summer; solid uppers block splashes and keep socks hidden.

Only if the holes are true perforations sized for standard shoe charms. Decorative embossing will not hold a charm. Listings that mention charm compatibility usually state the hole diameter in millimeters.

Rinse EVA or rubber pairs with lukewarm water and mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat so the foam keeps its shape. Hot water and dryers can warp the footbed permanently.

Look for a contoured footbed, some arch support, and a heel strap that keeps the shoe from slipping off. Flat, thin-soled pairs feel fine for short errands but tire your feet faster.
