Checkered Coat

A checkered coat is a patterned women's overcoat or sherpa jacket, not a generic black puffer. US shops split wool windowpane and houndstooth topcoats from buffalo-check sherpa and from trenches that only flash a check lining. Length, cloth weight, and whether the check is the shell or just the lining change the SKU.
