For ply wood it is nice. Be careful when assembling as it will be easy to chip/scrap etc. Took a little while to put together. Instructions did have a defect in a section when putting together so be aware and careful there. Luckily it was caught early on so nothing was put in the wrong place. Would buy another to put more shoes in. If you have bulky or huge feet this shelf is not for you, will only be able to fit 2 pairs of shoes per drawer. If normal size/style shoes 3-6
