The upper part of the shoe is lightweight, but the sole is heavy. I got tired very quickly; the shoes are very uncomfortable. I don't recommend them, and they arrived in a garbage bag full of tape.

Every time I walk in them loosen up. Can’t run in these shoes, I didn’t realized this was an experiment in “laces” because it doesn’t stay tight. They are comfortable but the laces contraption needs work. Edit. I noticed in the packaging it comes with regular shoe laces. That helped a ton!!

So month long update, I honestly LOVE these shoes they are comfortable and provide great support and protection to the feet. However, they do hold on to smell pretty heavily and they smelled within a week even with fresh cotton socks with each shift and the insoles have torn up which stinks 7/10

Currently wearing them now and have since they arrive in the mail. It’s sturdy, has comfort, and yes the special twist feature makes taking on and off a lot smoother. Only downside is that the shoes are a bit wide, which puts more strain on lace loops. Overall-great product!
