As of April 15th 2025 all styles are stainless steel- Chain and Locket! ( except the Forever in my heart style) because of that we raised our price to cover the better, long lasting metal option for better quality. The chain is about 20in long and is provide/included from the factory. Not the best quality so it is recommended long term to find a better quality chain.
Will it rust or tarnish? No, stainless steel does not tarnish; it's highly resistant to tarnish, corrosion, and rust due to its unique composition, which includes at least 10.5% chromium.
While stainless steel is resistant to rust and tarnish, it's important to note that "stainless" doesn't mean "stain-free". It can still stain or develop a black, orange, or grey layer of corrosion if exposed to moisture or certain chemicals for extended periods. So please be sure your necklaces is able to dry after being exposed to moisture.
Every Locket includes 2 Photos that will be added before shipping which will also not be ruined by any type of moisture.
