1. Iconic Design

The ornament features a cute, chubby-faced depiction of Sakyamuni Buddha in his childhood form, with closed eyes, a serene expression, and a golden urna (dot) on the forehead, radiating a gentle, healing vibe that softens the traditional solemnity of Buddhist imagery. The Buddha sits atop a blooming lotus pedestal, with intricately carved petal textures and elegant gilded accents, embodying the Buddhist symbolism of "rising pure from the mud".

With a total height of 10cm and a base diameter of 8cm, this compact, delicate piece fits seamlessly in any space without taking up room.

2. Material & Craft

Most versions are carved from tagua nut (ivory nut), a natural, sustainable material known as "vegetable ivory" for its fine, smooth texture and warm ivory tone, which aligns perfectly with Buddhist cultural connotations. Other popular materials include ceramic and resin. Each piece is hand-carved with meticulous attention to detail, from the Buddha's spiral hair curls to the lotus veins, with hand-applied gilding to elevate its premium, elegant look.
