I've been on regular berberine for two years. The results were decent, but the GI issues were a constant problem, bloating, cramping, and generally dreading taking it. Switched to dihydroberberine and the difference was immediate. Same blood sugar and insulin sensitivity support, but at a fraction of the dose. Dihydroberberine is roughly 5x more bioavailable than standard berberine, which means 100–200mg does what 500–1000mg of regular berberine struggled to do.
