u can see the left side of my hand has a shadow with the primer and on the right is without. it definitely makes a difference! be sure to pack shadow onto the primer as opposed to rubbing it. this reminds me of the elf eye primer that i used back in the day--its smooth, invisible, and not too sticky

Great base for both powder and liquid eye shadows. Helps to brighten up chalky or sheer colors and fives and even surface for me to work with. I have hooded lids and this gives me a little extra assurance that things will stay put.

I have suuuch a hard time finding good primers that don't flake or crease after a long work day. I'm now on my second tube of this stuff because it's amazing! A fantastic primer, especially for bold colors.

I'm in the process of switching my makeup to cruelty free, and this is a great option! It goes on smoothly, blends out easily, and helps my shadow last all day. I use it with About Face's matte eye paints, or regular shadow. Love the applicator too. I have hooded eyes that can get a little oily, but this works well.

This is by far my favorite eye shadow primer. I've tried a good amount brands and I always come back to this one because I can really tell the difference when I use it. I have SUPER oily hooded eyelids and this primer (with a dash of setting powder) keeps my eye makeup in tact all day. Absolutely love this product and give it as gifts to my friends starting in makeup.

This is nice and light, but I’m not sure it’s necessary with the Eye paint products. So far, I have used it three times and I’m not really seeing much of a difference. The crease on my hooded eyelids sheds color worse with this on then without it.

It's soft and light on the eyelid. It feels like I'm not wearing anything when I have it on! Paired with the Matte Fluid Eye Paint it created an easy and flawless application to the eyelid. It's an over all amazing product and I highly recommend it.

I’ve been looking for a good primer for forever, and I finally found it with this one! My eyeshadows ALWAYS crease so I just stopped wearing any altogether. I just tested this primer to the max with a heavy eye look on a hot busy day. I worked, I went for a long walk, went shopping, cooked in my hot car, and it didn’t budge! I am so happy! Will buy again when this one runs out.

This stuff is amazing. I use it under my eyes, as well as on the lids, and it keeps the shadow and (much needed) coverup from sitting in the fine wrinkles and laugh lines and making them more noticeable. Instead, the color stays smooth and looking freshly-applied. I just bought two more tubes so I don't run out anytime soon. I can't go back.

I used this with HIDDEN GARDEN matte fluid shadow. I periodically think that an eye primer will somehow improve the application or performance of cream or liquid eyeshadows. I've tried a bunch of different brands (including of some of the much more expensive ones). To me, they are seriously overhyped. Perhaps if you have very oily lids, they would create a good base for shadow. For me, it's just another step I won't bother with.

I tested 26 different eye primers for longevity as a series on Reddit, and this is among the few primers which had flawless 12+ hour wear on my oily lids. As a base, it's a bit on the grippy side so blending powder shadows smoothly will take a bit of practice. My fractal eye paint is amazing over this and I'm looking forward to trying some mattes as well!
