Trimming Tip

·Hold the paw firmly while trimming the nails. Use a single stroke to cut off the top of the nail quickly.

·Sure the handle at the bottom of the file makes the nail smooth.

·Avoid cutting off too much at once. If your pet’s nails are long, trim a small amount and wait about a week to ten days before trimming again. Repeat this process every week or ten days until the nails reach the desired length.

·Cut perpendicular to the nail, avoiding extreme angles and staying away from the quick.
