I purchased this product about a month ago and finally used recently when my skin was a little red from the sun. I applied a few sprays in the evening before bed thinking it would be a great way to soothe my skin….sadly I had a bad experience. This product may be great for some people but for me the mint addition was very strong and remained in my nose even after leaving the bathroom. After a few minutes the solution felt a little sticky on my skin and began to burn turning my face even more red. I don’t think I washed it off fast enough because my skin remained sensitive until I went to sleep. Long story short, this product does not work for my skin but might work for others. The packaging was great as always. I feel that the misting spray should be finer to avoid larger droplets getting in sensitive areas (mint can be irritating around nostrils/eyes). I will stick to my favorite water drench creams/gels because this product has no place on my skin.

I bought this product on a whim. I live in Arizona and we are still having 3 digit temps and it's October so I figured "why not?" I tried it immediately upon receiving my order - with no makeup - just to see how it was. It legitimately felt just so refreshing. After work - even when working from home - I tend to feel lackadaisical and have no energy for the rest of the day - dinner, laundry, workout - whatever it may be. I now use the spray right after work and it's a wonderful perk-up. I'm not saying it's the equivalent of an energy drink - but just the light, cool mist is so refreshing and almost rejuvinating. I am so very pleased that I found this. It's not likely to leave my routine anytime soon!

Please know that I am a proud and HUGE fan of Peter Thomas Roth products. I use his products exclusively because they actually work and my FAVORITE line is the Water Drench line! I was so excited to try this new product, the Water Drench Ice-Facial Cooling Mist because of the description that it has a cooling effect while being great for the skin. After using it for a few weeks and following the directions on the container, I’m sad to report that for me, it is an epic fail because my experience is the opposite of what it advertised and it is neither cooling or refreshing on any level. Before discovering Peter Thomas Roth products, like many people, I wasted hundreds of dollars over the years on skincare products that failed to deliver what they advertised and unfortunately, for me, this item was a fail. Will I continue to use my trusted Peter Thomas Roth products… ABSOLUTELY!!!! Unfortunately, this one for me was a total waste of money that I wish I could get back because I now own a bottle of product that I will never use again.

Why, for the love of every deity, would someone put peppermint in a face mist!?!? HOLY EYE BURNING! It’s like rubbing Vick’s Vapo Rub on your eye balls!? I REALLY wanted to love this but it’s quite intense. The “cooling” sensation is that fine line of not knowing if it’s cooling or burning 😳😳😳

Just tried this for the first time and I loved the way it felt on my face. The only drawback for me is it made my eyelids burn, maybe the peppermint is too much for that area.
