Permatease is a technique used to add volume and lift to wigs by permanently embedding short, matted fibers into the base of the wig cap. The longer hairs of the wig sit on top of the shorter fibers, creating the desired effect. In longer wigs, the hair at the root may also be crimped or lifted to hide the wefting.
Bendy ear tabs on wigs are small pieces of material, often containing metal or plastic, located at the front of the wig near the ears. These tabs help the wig conform to the wearer's head shape, providing a more secure and natural fit. By bending the tabs inward, the wig can be adjusted to sit comfortably and securely around the ears.
