Really like the dual compartments. Lids are So quiet, silent, when opening and closing, soft pedal that is just as silent as lids. Glad I got it.

Just it for a week, love it so far. Eliminated two bins that didn't fit well in my kitchen. Bins are small, but I live alone. The size is perfect. Trash goes out twice a week. Simplehuman makes great bags, Amazon has good knockoffs. Order Size Q, I believe. I have a SH can, this is just as good.

Trash can works great, but loosing that 5 gallon capacity on the trash side was hard. If you have a family, this can is not practical because you'd end up changing the bag every other day. Also, if the bag is full, it gets caught in the wire handle and rips the bag. I would not buy again.
