This is plastic so seems filmsy but it's ideal cause you do need it to be light so its portable but it does hold alot of rice. The cup with 500 ml, which is 3 full cups.

I ordered the large and it is pretty big. But it works great and holds a lot of rice. If you have a big family and/or eat a lot of rice I would highly recommend. Otherwise go with the smaller one, especially if you have limited counter space.
