I've been using Angelus leather dye for the last few years and it is great for staining the guitars I've been building. This is the first time I've used the Turquoise and man does it pop! I don't know how to put a picture on here or I would. Thanks to BigDGuitars for turning me on to Angelus dyes!

I use Angelus dyes to stain guitar bodies that I then donate for sale to help raise money for the nonprofit that I volunteer with. Quite frankly, they are the best product for this out there. The dyes are affordable, the application process is extremely simple, and the results are predictable. Basically, they offer everything I want and need for this sort of work.

Excellent! I used it to stain the top of the guitar I am building and it worked great! Beware though if your wood is slightly darker than something like maple, even a little bit, any kind of finish will make it yellower. I used the turquoise color and when I applied finish even after letting the stain on the wood dry for more than 24 hours, it made it green. Just something to keep in mind if you are going to use it to stain wood. Phenomenal product though, no complaints there!

I purchased the turquoise and purple dyes to dye 2 pairs of patent leather shoes. The purple dyed perfectly but the turquoise would not dye the shoes at all. I was sent another bottle but still didn't work. The turquoise dye looked different in the bottle and when applied to the shoes vs the purple dye I also got. Ended up having to dye both pairs of shoes purple and still waiting for the refund for the turquoise dye that does not work! Sorry that did not work out for you Cheryl. The dyes are not tested on patent as that is a plastic. This would have to be something that the customer would need to try for themselves. We test smooth and suede leathers only. We hope to expand on that soon though. Thank you for the feedback!

I love Angelus dyes. The dye colour came out exactly as wanted. I’ve never had issues with your dyes or other products.

I used the Angelus dye to create a sunbusrt finish on a quilted guitar body. The products worked very well and blended as desired.

I absolutely love working with Angeles dyes. I recently used the turquoise color on a custom tiger flamed guitar top, and WOW, the color right out of the bottle blew my mind! I tried this dye after being extremely disappointed with Keda Wood Dye and I’ll never use another product again. Every one of my custom Bella Guitarworks tops will have Angeles Leather Dyes on them. Thanks so much for making such a fantastic product.

It’s great doesn’t wear off. Mixing colors with great results to using one over the other on a piece of leather it’s just great can’t say enough good stuff about it. Thanks for a real quality product! Great colors there! looks factory.

I use leather dyes to color the briar when making tobacco pipes, and this turquoise was an impulse buy. I am super happy I bought it as the color is beautiful!

This was the first time using your dye. At first I put to much on and it dried hard and flakey. So I went and read the directions!! I also diluted it with your natural dye and applied it in light coats. It worked great. I have been using another brand and after a friend (Jerry Van Amburg) recommended your dye, so I purchased some! Thank you for a great product. Randy Rannberg
