This is a hard case that comes in five pieces: a front and back shell for each Joycon and a back shell for the console. The design is scratch resistant and waterproof. This case is dock friendly and either has a hole for the kickstand or a hinged cover for the kickstand. 

The game case pictured does not come with the case but can be purchased separately.
