I bought a sling with some dangly straps and they were driving me crazy. They weren’t getting in the way, I just didn’t like the look of the extra fabric just flopping around. I asked for advice on strap keepers in my EDC Facebook group and the keeper that most people recommended was these strap keepers from Tom Bihn. And man do they do the trick. I was worried there wasn’t enough of a strap to keep them snug, but they are really secure and do not move around at all. They’re tight fitting and unobtrusive. Highly recommended!

I picked up a set of Tom Bihn strap keepers specifically for my Techonaut 30. They do exactly what they’re designed to do: keep the loose backpack straps tidy and in line. Once installed, they noticeably cleaned up the look of the bag. The straps feel more controlled and less “dangly,” especially when using it as a personal carry. That said, I think I originally had something slightly different in mind. I was looking more for a solution that would let me roll up and fully contain the excess strap length, not just keep the straps aligned. These are more about organization and streamlining than fully wrapping up extra webbing. Still, they’re very well made — solid materials, clean stitching, and secure once in place. Very much in line with Tom Bihn’s build quality. Even if I experiment with other strap solutions later, these work well on the Techonaut 30 and make it feel a bit more refined. And since they’re versatile, I can always move them to another bag if needed. Simple accessory, does the job, and still happy I added them to the setup.

Used these as a way to tidy up extra straps dangling from backpacks. Wonder if i can also use them to tidy up the tote handles when the Nomad is in messenger bag mode....hmmmm.

I picked up the these strap keepers recently and honestly didn’t expect them to make such a big difference but they really do. They clean up all the extra dangling strap on my bag and make everything look a lot more organized. Super easy to install, and they stay in place once you set them. It’s one of those small upgrades that you don’t think about until you try it, and then you kind of want them on every backpack you own. I purchased the straps Keepers because I am very short and I need the straps to the high setting. Using the straps keepers helps organize the extra material so that it stays clean and out of the way

I like a nice, neat backpack. Having these helps keep my strap ends managed so they aren't constantly brushing up against me. But they aren't some over-designed taciticool devices made from titanium and spent brass. Just simple elastic straps with a solid hook to hold them shut.
