I make my own mayonnaise and it's so nice to not have to mess with a metal lid and ring. The silicone liner provides a nice, tight seal. I also like that the liner has a grip tab so it comes out for easy cleaning. I got regular and wide-mouth sets. Try a set - you'll love them, too!

These lids are great! I am using 64 ounce ball canning jars for storage and these keep my ingredients fresh. I also bought the pitcher/pour lids and absolutely love them. I use a 64 ounce jar for tea and other beverages and the pour lids work great! I am pleased with all the products I have purchased.

They are very nice quality. They do not leak. However, I stored a pesto, with lots of garlic, in the jar. Although neither garlic nor the pesto actually touched the silicone sealer, it smells like garlic, not with standing several trips through the dishwasher.
