I was expecting it to always look a little deformed, or start to develop smudges or texture... but no, it looks like a glass and is very robust. It does flex a little if you pick it up while full, but for the most part, they are perfectly fine drinking "glasses". Just be careful, the silicone is non-slip, so if you bump it, it doesn't slide like a normal glass.

I purchased the clear pint glass, mostly to see just how similar to a pint container made of glass it looked. The silicon is crystal clear and looks exactly as if it were made of glass. I was impressed.

We bought a house with a cobblestone patio and, while beautiful, is also uneven. Chairs rock and tables jiggle. The pint glass in crystal clear is not only just as beautiful as the glass pints, it adds a sense of security that you won't be picking up any shards over the course of the evening. Also, when you set the Crystal Clear Pint down on the glass table top, you don't hear that jarring glass on glass clink. You don't really mind the noise until it's gone and then you love how quite they are. True, you can't clink glasses at the beginning of the evening, but the peace of mind is worth the missing noise.

The pint glasses are beautiful and the silicon material is durable and can handle hot as well as cold beverages. Perfect for everyday use and excellent for outdoor activities. I cannot believe that they are not glass! Well done!
