Vital Vitamins Resveratrol Supplement - Antioxidant Support, Cellular Longevity, Cognitive Function - 60 Capsules I’ve been taking resveratrol for its antioxidant properties for years. Started studying supplements a little more and trying a few different brands lately. Wanted to see if I notice any difference. I’m not having any negative effects from this one. This brand has a lot fewer milligrams per capsule than my usual brand at about the same cost. The resveratrol is labeled as derived from Polygonum Cuspidatum (Japanese Knotweed extract) which is typical. Bottle was double sealed with cello wrap on the outside and a foam seal on the underside of the cap. Label on bottle is difficult to read without a magnifier. Correct count of 60 capsules. Average size easy to swallow. Labeling is a little better than most at explaining the milligrams per capsule versus serving size. The suggested use is 2 capsules a day. I find that the suggested use is highly subjective between the different brands of product. The price point is $17.09 for 60 capsules which is on the higher side than most I have researched. That would be about $0.56 per serving. Expiration date was a very good 35 months beyond date of purchase. In general, to compare supplement products, read the Supplement Facts and suggested usage carefully. Rarely will you be able to compare one to another without doing some math. I encourage anyone to do your own research before taking any supplement and check with your doctor or pharmacist to make sure you won’t have any negative prescription interactions. If researching the internet, check the sites with a suffix of .org, .edu, or .gov. Any site with a .com is going to try and sell you something.

These capsules are easy to swallow and do not have any significant taste or smell. I ordered them because I want to increase resveratrol in my diet and the listing states that they are made in the USA and are 3rd party tested. I did not experience any negative side effects after taking these, but I have not noticed any significant positive effects so far.

This was my reason for trying this. It seems as though antioxidants are the "in" thing to take thse days to provide extra boosts to your heart and brain health as well as healthier aging, and I, for one, can use all the help I can get! This Resveratrol seems to offer what my body needs for healthier aging, at an affordable price. I don't always eat as well as I should so this product offers me the opportunity to increase health benefits via a couple of pills daily. This product is made in the USA too. I've been taking it for only a week now, so it is too soon to determine just how well it works for me, but I really hope it helps me.

This product is provided in good quality capsules, each providing a dosage of 150mg standardized trans-Resveratrol. I'm pleased to see it is made in the U.S. and third party tested. The manufacturing and quality information for this product is well presented. Trans-Resveratrol has been long studied and proven to help fight oxidative stress and support healthy aging. This appears to be a more economical product when compared with more prominent ones I have been taking. However my other resveratrol supplements all have additional ingredients stated to enhance efficacy - mostly minor added natural extracts. I'm anxious to continue with the Vital Vitamins to determine if there is indeed any difference - fine so far.
