Not thrilled with this brush and I really wanted to love it. I got this for my daughter with type C curly hair and the tip of the bristles gave a little ball type thing and her hair gets stuck on them. My daughter cries when I use it.

I had a paddle brush but I didn’t use it much. Now I have a Pattern Paddle Brush and I can’t wait to use it. Pattern makes great products! I’m happy to be a customer. Now all I need is the blow dryer, steamer, and curling irons and that will complete my purchase of all their tools. Yay me. My hair is joyful and juicy!

Loved the brush lasted about a yr before the brush part separated from the back/handle. Once it fell out you could see the glue used had just had its run course I guess. Debating on if another is worth it. Currently using a brush I grabbed last minute from dollar tree. It is a good brush though. I just wish it hadn’t fallen apart.

I’ve been using the Mixed Chicks paddle brush for years and wanted to try this one to see if I liked it better. While I do appreciate the way it enhances my curl pattern, just as good as Mixed Chicks, just a different pattern. I’ve had some issues with it. The “bristles” come out easily, and my hair often snags and gets pulled due to the little balls at the ends of the “bristles”. I have 3B curls, and while my Mixed Chicks brush rarely snags (every blue moon), this brush snags my hair every time I use it. I do mean every single time. After over a year of trying it, I’ve decided to stop using it. It’s frustrating to deal with constant snags, and my hair being pulled out. That said, I love Pattern’s products overall—just not this paddle brush.

The brush worked okay for about 1 month; recently while using it, the whole brush separated from the holder. I tried to push it back on, it just comes right back out everytime I try to use it. I tossed it

In between my protective styles, I wear a ponytail or a washing go. This brush is fantastic for pulling it back in a ponytail or brushing my edges for a washing go until I refined it with edge controller brush.

This brush is the best paddle brush I’ve ever had. It effortlessly gets through my curls without pulling or snagging. I recently used it on a friend who had a few matted knots and it glided through her hair like butter. I had to come back and buy her one! The quality is also great. The handle is sturdy. It’s a little hard to grip when your hands are slippery though.

My hair beat the brush! The pad came apart from the handle. I have to keep stopping to push the bristle part back onto the handle. It didn’t last a year.
