I’ve tried 2 other brands before this one! WOW, fast and reliable. The others constantly crashed and wouldn’t connect the first time, but this one never crashes and always connects the first time and within a few seconds! Highly recommend!

It takes about 10 to 15 seconds after starting the truck for CarPlay to link up. Other than that it works great.

I installed Ottocast, and it worked great with two exceptions. One, my car would hijack my calls in my house. Annoying, but not fatal. Since Magic seems to disconnect when I shut down my car, I do not have that problem anymore. The bigger issue was that Ottocast would shut down the audio system completely many times when I made a call out through CarPlay. I would have to shut down the car for several minutes before it reset. Simply shuttling down the audio system would not work. It was completely bricked. I have not had tis problem yet with Magic. It's only been. couple weeks, but I have made several calls. Could be a configuration issue: my car is a 2018 MB AMG 63 wagon with a Burmeister audio. I put in a new DSP/amp and speakers but that did nothing to solve the connection problem. But the system sounds much better. 😃

I wasted a year and a half regretting my purchase. Learn why I did a 180° turn to loving it: My vehicle was supported, I have an electronics background. Easy purchase. Then I struggled, and even went out of the return period. My prob was I couldn't get Android Auto to work even via USB-C direct connection. So Magic Brand couldn't wirelessly fix what wasn't working direct-connect. I hated every time I got marketing texts, but I never unsubscribed. Then, on a whim, I plugged my phone in to charge in the data-USB in my vehicle. Android Auto connected! So what changed? It wasn't my phone or my truck. Then I plugged in the Magic Brand device. IT TOO WORKED! What most likely happened is a carrier-phone update finally fully supported Android Auto. It's not an old phone, but I got a "deal" at my wireless carrier. Updates on discount phones prioritize security and software adds you didn't ask for. Occasionally, they fix functionality. So if you're struggling to connect, and you think you should be able, try someone else's phone before blaming Magic Brand or your vehicle. Next time, buy/bring your own mobile phone to the carrier.

Everything worked as it should. However i did order the incorrect item and meant to order the magic box 2.0. This product was virtually plug and play. Plugged it in, synced with my phone’s Bluetooth and it’s worked without issue ever since! Connects each time in just a few seconds. Able to sync with other family phones as well.

Purchased this Magic Link and it works perfectly with my Ram 1550 system/screen... Arrived quickly in a few days and it synchs and works perfectly...A great reasonable investment fpr my truck...Kudos to the "Magic" team !!

I plugged the Magic link into my CX9 and it found my device and connected with out issue. I now have wireless connection to my Apple CarPlay, which is sweet.. Thedevice was a little more expensive than I wanted, but it seems to work so I’m happy about that.. if it ends up being durable, it’ll be well worth the money

Incredibly easy to install and have it working. It was about a 30 second set up. Took longer to unwrap. It connects to my phone and then to the screen each time without hickup. Highly recommend.
