Bought the lanyard and clip took almost a month and a half to get delivered got lost in transit then they sent a new one and was delivered in 4 days I think it should’ve just been sent the way they sent the second one in the first place

This is a really bad pocket clip. If I can say anything good about it, it does in fact hold your leatherman tool to your pocket once you get it attached. Other than that, here's the bad: - There isn't enough "ramp" on the clip, making it very hard to get onto and off of your pocket in the first place. The gap is just too small to go over normal pants. This is critical because this is the main motion the clip experiences, and it can't even do it without manually lifting up the clip with your finger and then lowering it onto your pocket. - I was attempting to fix this clip by bending it to add more ramp, and it snapped rather than bent. This is indicative of really cheap materials. Pocket clip steel should be springy and bendable under load, it shouldn't snap. - It feels *really* cheap and flimsy in the hand. Out of the 50 or so knives I own, this is easily the cheapest feeling. It doesn't feel like the same quality as the multitool itself (in this case, a Wave+). - If it's going to be this cheap and flimsy, don't make me buy it! Just include it with the tool! Adding insult to injury. - It's clear Leatherman knows this is bad clip, which is why the clip on the Arc (which I also have) is so much better. But people shouldn't have to buy an Arc to get a decent pocket clip on a Wave, it's crazy. Pocket clips are a solved problem. Leatherman just needs to go copy Spyderco's design, and boom, done.

Well made, my only issue is the play in the clip. But I knew there was play when I ordered. Even with the play/slight movement the clip hold fast and has not failed to retain the multi-tool. Provide me with confidence my leatherman surge will not come loose from the leather sheaf.

I love Leatherman’s tools but, I’m disappointed in the pocket clip. I got the clip for my Surge. My first complaint is how loose it fits in the Surge. At first I thought something was wrong with it until I read other people had similar issues. My second complaint is that I have to physically pry it away from the tool to be able to clip it to my pocket. My third complaint is that it seems like it is made from cast metal making it super brittle. It doesn’t make any sense to me to make a pocket clip from cast metal…. Needless to say, my clip snapped. I do not recommend this product.

The clip is not functional. The top portion of the clip is tighter that the rest of the clip. As a result, when you put it in your pocket with the clip to the pocket, the clip gets jammed on the pocket edge and makes it too hard to pull it from your pocket. Ultimately, the clip snapped off as I tried to pull it out of my pocket because of the clip design (and possibly cheap materials). Not what I have come to expect from Leatherman.

The pocket clip was a brilliant addition to my Wave+. It installed in an instant (and can be removed equally fast), fits perfectly rigid without any play as if it were integral to the tool, and adds a lot of value. Consider making it an initial purchase choice, same as with color or adding a sheath/pouch. It is beautifully made with a mirror polish and holds the tool discretely, securely and comfortably in my pants pocket. The Wave+ is my new everyday carry tool thanks to this item; I dislike belt sheaths or pouches in street clothes due to their added bulk, the clip is ideal. I DO have a pouch with the bit kit and ratchet driver for field carry. The lanyard ring was not useful to me as my tool incorporates a "hidden" one built-in, but it fits as perfectly as the clip does and would be a benefit for a tool which lacks one.

It broke. Also it was kind of loose and floppy on my Charge TTI+. I’m actually surprised that it broke because it sure felt like a solid well built item. Don’t let this dissuade you from buying it. I probably did something to it like banging into something. I also can’t make use of it due to the fact that I also pack/use the bits, ratchet, and extension regularly. So the case is really what I need. A bigger one in fact.

This was very easy to install on my Wave+ and I'm very happy with both the pocket clip and lanyard ring. I have a split ring on the lanyard ring so I can pull it out of the sheath easily and I like how i can feel which way I'm holding the tool in my hand without looking because of the lanyard ring and pocket clip because it helps to figure out which tools are in each side of the handle really easy.

I wished it was included with the Wave but nonetheless I'm happy I purchased it, allows the Wave+ to fit very securely in my coin pocket in my jeans. Very happy with my purchase!

I put these accessories to use right away. Clipped ring on my my Wave+ and Charge+. It allows ease accessing from sheathes and tight sheathes by finger pulling on the rings. Because, the rings stick out the pockets of the sheathes for quick removal.

The clip is great in every aspect except durability. The first one broke on me in under a year when I slightly bumped into a cabinet. The second one broke a few days after I got it in the mail when I barely brushed something at work. I love the tool, but man I despise the durability of these clips. Please, whoever the design team is, make a clip that doesn’t have the fragility of a porcelain tea cup.

I purchased an extra Pocket Clip and Lanyard Ring as I initially preferred the Picket clip. Now I am a Lanyard Ring persin and dont know where I misplaced the originals.
