I am so picky when it comes to body sprays and perfumes. I A chemical scent turns me off. I am drawn to natural fresh aromas which makes this Lake body sprays, a perfect find. I am overjoyed I found a scent that is bright but not overwhelming and fresh as well as light.

I love this scent profile. It’s the family of scents that smell alike with G-Water, and for me it’s all about the later dry-down with both of them. But what is the deal with these scents, they disappear in 5 minutes or less!? It’s not nose-blindness, I ask other people what they smell and they pretty much have to put their noses ON me to get anything. I douse myself. It dries away. Beyond “skin scent” intimacy. I have Rosie as well (also love) and it lasts much longer and projects more. Is it the fragrance components used in this? Woods and citrus and vanilla can be potent, but I think they should up the doses a little, something! For what it’s worth, the fragrance profile goes like this for me: initial application is all sweet lemon, quickly followed by vanilla and neroli, quickly followed with an unfortunate pine pitch note, then (as it’s disappearing) it all mellows into the sandalwood, a blend of the sweeter citrus floral notes, maybe a touch of amber. (And if Ambroxan is used, that may be part of my problem—my body chemistry is one that mostly cancels out Ambroxan!) Great scent, wish it stayed to play a lot longer.

I have been in love with Rosie scent but wanted to branch out and lake is definitely another favorite!! I am soo sensitive to scents and perfume and I love that I do not react to these, they are light & CLEAN!!
