I think it will be a great toy for my granddaughter. I hooked it up and ran it, it would be better if it had realistic dirt bin to empty, you have to shake it to get the little colored balls to come out a small opening, after they vacuum them up. So it's a novelty, yes it vacuums but not much and then if you did get actual dirt in it, it doesn't seem like it would empty out easily. I'll review after I watch her play with it for a day.
