This product does exactly what It says. Your hair has to be wet, soaking wet. I went into extreme humid heat. My hair still stayed even now it doesn't sit exactly how I did it a couple of days ago, which was Monday and it's not Friday. I work in a warehouse. It's extremely hot in there. My curl still stayed. My hair is still flat not as Flat as when I first did it, but it's not a lion mane either. And yes, a little bit of the gel goes a long way. My hair is down my back to my lower back as the today's progressed and I sweated my hair did go up from lower back to mid back bra strap, but still know, lion mane. I will be buying again
