I used to get a needle point pen that was a fine line writer. I don't remember the brand but this one isn't it. This one lays down a fairly heavy line, more similar to a 1.0 than a 0.7. It does have a smooth and even line though. The Signo 207 gel pen 0.7 is a finer line.
